long time no post...

Hey guys. Haven't posted here in a long time but my son had something odd happen to him at the playground yesterday so I thought I'd share. I was taking my daughter on the slide and I overheard a kid on the swings with my son and he was asking him about school and my son was describing his school, has a big cross on it... and the kid says 'churches with crosses on them are bad'. How shallow is that to teach your kids? Really doesn't surprise me though. So I went over there and told him crosses on churches are not bad. That Jesus died on the cross for our sins to make it possible for us to be with God and that we need to be thankful for that. He was just looking at me like 'oh'. I told him he needs to ask his parents why they told him crosses are bad because they are not. He still played with my son, and I was glad. I certainly don't want to encourage the descrimination. We have to fight it! Educate the brainwashed children in the park!
Poor kid, being brainwashed. Sometimes this state amazes me.
Which park was this? Do you still live by Fitts Park?

Hi I am not a Mormon. But I don't like the idea of the cross. If your son was shot would you hang a gun on your house to remind you of him. I think that there are better ways to remember Christ than idolizing the way he died.
